My holiday at House Quarters, in Kenton-on-Sea, was one that can only be described as luxurious and memorable. Ideally situated, this upmarket accommodation offering is certainly a great choice for the discerning traveller.
Kenton-on-Sea, more commonly known as Kenton, lies approximately halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London. This coastal town has long been a popular resort town along the Eastern Cape’s Sunshine Coast. Thus, House Quarters offers visitors a great location to base a holiday from.
While chatting to the town’s friendly locals, it was evident that the House Quarters is held in very high regard. On our arrival, we discovered why. One immediately notices the chic styling of this establishment and it certainly catches your attention.
My friend and I made our way to the reception area and in doing so found at that this is not your ordinary accommodation stay. Visitors can enjoy pampering at their on-site spa as well as enjoy a fine dining experience at the House Kitchen.
We were shown to our unit, the ManorHouse, by Janda, the manager of this fine establishment. Our suite had spectacular views of the surrounding area and the town itself. The large retractable doors were certainly a highlight.
My friend and I were very impressed with the facilities on offer at the House Quarters. Our kitchen was very modern and contained all the amenities one would expect from a luxury retreat.
The unit is open plan and is tastefully-furnished. The meticulous design is notable throughout, even in the fine details, the sign of a great team.
The ManorHouse has two rooms, one King bedroom and one room with two single beds. The bathrooms contained the luxurious feel that is found throughout this high end establishment.
I was really impressed with House Quarters and can recommend it as a perfect stay for those looking for a luxury getaway along the Sunshine Coast.
Accommodation at House Quarters
The House Quarters offers a great range of luxury accommodation for visitors to choose from. Visitors can choose from their six boutique selections, which can accommodate either two or four visitors.
The PentHouse and ManorHouse are ideal for families or groups of friends. The TownHouse and BeachHouse are perfect for romantic getaways, whilst their GuardHouse, GateHouse and WareHouse are suitable for business travellers.
Thus, the House Quarters has a bit of everything for all those, who wish to enjoy a getaway to Kenton-on-Sea.
The PentHouse, as you could image, is their most luxurious suite on offer. The unit’s spacious balcony is one of its many highlights.
As mentioned above, we stayed in the ManorHouse. It is also worth mentioning that the modern kitchen and trendy seating area were also appreciated.
The TownHouse and BeachHouse can accommodate two visitors who wish to break free from the hustle and bustle of city life. The GuardHouse, GateHouse and Warehouse also accommodate two individuals, but are mainly used by businessmen and women.

Facilities at the House Quarters
The House Kitchen is your go-to restaurant should you be looking to enjoy a fine dining experience. This on-site restaurant also offers amazing views of the Kariega River and Indian Ocean beyond. However, it is with the meals that they excel. Visitors can enjoy delicious breakfasts, wholesome lunches and delectable desserts.
Visitors can leave rejuvenated thanks to their Visage Beauty and Spa. Their treatments range from manicures and pedicures to massages and waxes.
The House Quarters has ample and secure parking available for your vehicles. Security guards also guard the premises day and night – for your additional peace of mind.
